Fiddler's Green: Mission Statement
Welcome to the Fiddler's Green Wiki
Fiddler's Green was started as a project for a Visual Arts class at MIT. While the assignment was simple and short, the hope of this page is that Fiddler's Green may be a living work of art that can grow and evolve just as the plants it is designed to hold. The mission of this wiki is to help people create and maintain Fiddler's Greens across the world and to help people share their Fiddler's Greens, the ideas they come up with, and how they are used.
On this wiki, you will find instructions on how to make a Fiddler's Green from common everyday materials, information on what plants to plant, how well they grow, and little tidbits of collective wisdom that the community of Green Fiddler's. Instructions for accessories to add to your Fiddler's Green, a log of the many Fiddler's Greens across the world and where they have been, the proper etiquette for passing along Fiddler's Greens to strangers, and idea brainstorms are just a few of the topics that can also be found in this wiki. More will be added as the community grows.

Featured article

Added by Cygni102Make Your Own FG: This article explains how to build the most basic version of a Fiddler's Green backpack. Accessories can be added later and are explained in other articles. The actual planters are included in another article as they constitute a major part of the project and deserve their own page. Make_your_own_FG
